Norfolk & Suffolk Fly Fishers Society run ‘Try The Fly’ Introductory days. Tuition, Tackle, Flies, a one day license, a super buffet / BBQ and the chance to catch and take home 2 trout, all for just £30 for adults*, £10 for under 18s*.
We are lucky to have secured the services of Jim Gill, both APGAI instructors to lead our ‘Try The Fly’ taster days, which are held regularly throughout the season. Qualified tuition, good company, refreshments, hard fighting fish and of course a bit of ‘fisherman’s banter’ make for a really enjoyable as well as informative day.
Numbers are limited to 12 anglers to ensure a high level of coaching, and we expect demand to be high so book your place now. He’s a qualified APGAI fly fishing and fly casting instructor, a British Fly Casting Club instructor, an Anglian Water instructor, a fishing guide, and tournament caster. he’s based in Cambridge England and have been lucky enough to have fly fished all over the world. He can also provide fly fishing for predator coarse fish on the lower R.Cam or Little Ouse, and some limited days on his own stretch of chalkstream on the upper Cam for wild brown trout.
